Use our PDF pattern "Annie" to sew a timeless handbag with a simple, yet classy appearance and perfect size for day trips and walks. The bag features a recessed zipper. The main bag pieces spotlight your fabric perfectly while the center split seam adds visual interest. The rounded bag bottom is interfaced with a thick stabilizer and quilted with a diamond shape. You can use webbing or self-fabric for the adjustable strap. If desired, you may add a zipper and/or patch pocket(s) to your bag lining.

recommended fabric: rather firm fabric like (faux) leather, suede, canvas, oilskin or cork + foam interfacing (Style-Vil or Soft & Stable)

- 30 x 130 cm / 12 x 52 inches outer fabric (e. g. faux leather)
- 35 x 130 cm / 14 x 52 inches lining fabric (e. g. quilting cotton)
- 15 x 30 cm / 6 x 12 inches foam interfacing (e. g. Style-Vil or Soft & Stable)
- 35 cm / 14 inches (continuous) zipper with 1 zipper head, 3 cm / 1 ¼ inch wide
- 150 cm / 60 inches webbing or faux leather strap, 2.5 cm / 1 inch wide
- 2 d-rings for 2.5 cm / 1 inch wide strap
- 2 metal swivel snaps for 2.5 cm / 1 inch wide strap
- 1 metal strap slider for 2.5 cm / 1 inch wide strap
- optional for inner zipper pocket: 20 cm / 8 inches (continuous) zipper
