The pattydoo kids' shirt "Paul" (formerly "Leo") is a basic yet versatile top with a close fit, for both boys and girls. You can choose short or long sleeves - and finish the hem with or without a ribbing or band. Even cooler when you add a hood.
The pattern contains:
- all of the pattern pieces in sizes DE 92-146/ US 18 months - 11 years
- variations: short or long sleeves (with or without cuffs), hood and kangaroo pocket
- measurements in cm/inch, as well as sewing instructions
Material recommendation: Definitely a stretchy fabric like cotton- or viscose-jersey. A lightweight and elastic sweatshirt material would also work. The bands/ cuffs can be made of either jersey or a ribbed knit.
The amount of fabric is based on a fabric width of 150 cm (1 3/4 yd). For the hood you will need an additional 40 cm (15 3/4”) of fabric each - for the inner and outer part of the hood. For the band / ribbing at the hem you will need approximately 20 cm (7 7/8”) of the material you choose for this.
